Welcome to the Louisiana Native Bee Lab!

 

We study native bees and the plants they rely on, with a special focus on threatened local habitats including the Cajun Prairie, longleaf pine savannas, and barrier islands. We are also interested in how biodiversity affects pollination and other services that ecosystems provide for humans.

 

I am interested in potential graduate students who want to start in Fall 2025, and I'm always excited to hear from UL undergraduates who want to do research in the lab.
